Very polished and impressive game! Aesthetics is very unified and functional as well. A nice twist on the minesweeper formula. Congratulations to the creators, cool game!
One problem I have with minesweeper is that the first moves are always random and you can die. With the charm mechanic and having one charm from the start, you have some room to test some squares and feel luckier finding a charm rather than looser finding a snake and straight up failing. Very nice.
But there is something weird coming from minesweeper, the tiles with snakes can also contain numbers, so sometimes the strategies and 'formulas' you use in the original game make you miss if you don't intentionally stop your 'autopilot'. In some ocasions, I just thought the numbers were incorrect
In the tutorial: 'charm snakes to win' wasn't clear. I didn't know how to charm them, and having played minesweeper i didn't want to touch a snake at all. But the lower message and the feedback of charm and snakes counter made the objective clear after some trial and error
One detail i see is that when i have enough charms, i can just click tiles randomly and still succeed, so in some levels you end up playing just half of them
Fun for a while; I wish there was the flag mechanic from the original minesweeper, just to mark where you know snakes are because I found myself playing this like normal minesweeper until I either had most charms or has some unclear locations. I guess that is one problem with the game, it can never really get hard, because there has to be an equal amount of snakes and charms PLUS empty tiles and at a certain point you can just use the charm safety net to spam tiles and then figure out the rest with the clues on the tiles.
This variation is fun though :) It's a good game and very well polished.
Also I think when you have all the charms all snakes should be revealed and the level should be cleared
thank you for playing and the detailed feedback! I agree with the game getting stagnant after a while. I am still looking for a mechanic to make it more challenging in the future.
Very fun gameplay :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Feels very polished and a unique idea on minesweeper!
Only note I have is it took me a little bit to fully understand even with the text haha.
I have a suggestion, that might help:
- Maybe could do something like, when you hover over the tile. It'll tell you how many snakes are nearby, and highlight the adjacent area (i wasn't aware adjacent meant diagonals)

Quite addicting, it's a twist on mine sweeper but a bit easier which is appreciated. I got to lvl 13 and stopped playing.
Thanks for playing!

An interesting take on the classical minesweeper. The charms add a unique aspect that changes it a lot and makes it even more of a puzzle.
Thank you for playing!
I'm incredibly impressed y'all made this so fast! Wonderful gameplay and polish.
